Lemon Fruit Cake

Cream together:
2 cups sugar
1 cup brown sugar
1 lb. butter

8 eggs, beaten
2 oz. lemon flavoring
1 lb pecans
1 lb. candied cherries
1 lb. candied pineapple

Sift together:
4 cups flour
2 tsp. baking powder

Mix par of flour mixture with fruit and nuts. Add rest of flour to sugar mixture add fruit and nuts. Bake in 3 bread pans for 1 1/2 hours in a 300 degree oven. Put pan of water in bottom of oven.
